Travel Grants

There are several travel grants available for postgraduate research students to attend CiE 2022.

For the following grants, please submit an application to the CiE organization team at, briefly explaining how you would benefit from attending CiE and how you satisfy the criteria. Please also include an estimate of your travel costs. In addition, your supervisor should send us a brief statement of support to the same email address. Preference will be given to applicants giving a talk at the conference (whether it is a formal or informal presentation).

  1. 1 travel grant sponsored by Springer, no restrictions.
  2. 2 travel grants sponsored by the London Mathematical Society, available to PGR students working in Mathematics (broadly understood) at a British University, or at a university in a country covered by the LMS Scheme 5 criteria.
  3. 2 travel grants (350 Euro each) sponsored by the the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Mathematische Logik und Grundlagenforschung in den Exakten Wissenschaften (DVMLG), available for PhD students at an institution in a German-speaking region working on a topic in the DVMLG-purview.

Through Women in Computability program, we are able to offer some grants for junior women researchers who want to participate in CiE 2022. Applications for this grant should be sent to Liesbeth de Mol,, before 31 May 2022 and include a short CV (at most 2 pages) and contact information for an academic reference. Preference will be given to junior women researchers who are presenting a paper (including informal presentations) at CiE 2022.
