eDiaMoND: towards a national database for digital mammograms

One in eight women in the western world will get breast cancer at some stage of their lives. The earlier the diagnosis, the better the prognosis: this is the basis of the breast screening process. In this talk I will describe work being undertaken by the University of Oxford and IBM to deliver a protoype solution for a national database to support this process.
